First, you cut the strips about ¾ inches wide, and the tissue paper should be pretty small, and be in a strip fashion that’s rectangular.
From there, you should start to fringe the strips in a horizontal manner, making each of these about ¼ inch apart. From there, glue the strips to the lid of the box, going from the bottom and then layering each of the strips upwards, and you can alternate the colors at this point too if you feel like adding in some extra colors.
Finally, when you’re done, you may notice a few pieces of this hanging off the lid. Some people like to keep tose, but for the most part, the easiest way to do this is to trim off the excess that’s across the lid.
From there, you can then add in your chocolates, candies, or whatever, and this is a great candy box that’s incredibly simple. Personally, I like rounded tins since usually, they’re easier to layer, and you can usually find these quite easily, but square tins are also important and can be used in some cases to truly create the best effect.
