Are you tired of the same old Easter egg baskets? Well, why not try a DIY Easter egg candy box basket? that’s right, you can take old candy boxes, or even just some cardstock, and then add some small candy boxes to this. You can use this to create some wonderful items, and it can make a huge difference in how your child enjoys the candy basket.
To begin, you need some items. You can get some old candy boxes or even just some cardstock, some cardboard, grass, some handles, or even some ribbon and finally some hot glue. Hot glue each of the sides that you have to make these together. Cut the square pieces of cardboard to fit the candy box bottoms. Hot glue each of the sides, and make sure that you have a cardboard bottom on it.
Take the rope of ribbon on each side of the candy box sides and put them over the top. It creates the handle, and from there, you can then add some ribbon.
What I like to do at this point, is to take some of the extra cardstock that you have going on, and use different Cricut punchers and start to punch out different little designs from this. It really does add to it and gives it that more personal touch, and in turn, it can really make it look great for Easter.
If you have a Cricut machine with different patterns, especially the scalloped one,s you can from there add those as borders to your design. Adding eggs, rabbits, or anything easter-themed can really bring your basket to a whole new level.
Finally, consider what you’re putting in each of these. First, you should lay some of the grass down on the bottom of this. The cardboard should hold this up, and you can add some more cardboard to this if you feel like you want to make this candy box even stronger. Add in the candies, and you can add a top to this in order to create a DIY candy basket that looks good and seems super pretty. If you’re worried about whether or not you will really get the full results from this, well you’re in luck, for you’ve got a wonderful bottom to this, and in turn, you can create some great and amazing pieces for your child, and a basket that they will love.
Ditch the old baskets that you had last year. If you want something that’s more personal and will really help you get what you want out of this, then you’re in luck. DIY Easter baskets are a great way to make this even better for your child, and in turn, you’ll be able to create and have a wonderful experience making these. if you’re curious about what you need in order to make this really helpful, then you’re in luck for this post showed a great idea, and a new way to celebrate Easter too.
